Features & Applications

Our spunmelt nonwoven fabrics have outer layer(s) of spunbond fabric (S), combined with inner layer(s) of meltblown fabric (M) in SMS, SMMS, and SSMMS configurations.

This multilayer technology offers better physical properties, more homogeneous fibre distribution on the surface, and high strength in both machine and cross machine directions.

SMS and SMMS fabrics have very good barrier properties which prevent liquid leak. The SMMS has more symmetry, water repellency, bacterial resistance, and durability than SMS.

Spunmelt nonwovens are lightweight and soft to touch, with excellent water absorbency and strike through re-wet properties. Their dermatological nature ensures dry and safe comfort wear.

Applications for spunmelt nonwoven fabrics include hygiene, medical and healthcare, wipes, filtration, and automative uses.

Spunmelt nonwovens also offer excellent run-ability on modern high speed machine.

Options & Treatments

Available in 10 or 20 pallet quantities (20 or 40ft. containers) and in a range of colours, SMS, SMMS, and SSMMS spunmelt nonwoven fabrics are offered in 8 to 100 gr per sqm, and can be slit from 20mm to 3200mm.

Available chemical treatments to improve properties include, hydrophilic, zone hydrophilic, anti-static, vitamin E, anti-bacterial, softness, UV, flame retardant, and fragranced.
