Elliotts Absorbents announce new "Cargo Absorbent" products.
Elliott Absorbent Products, in partnership with CargoWise Solutions Ltd, have developed a new range of absorbent products, in response to increasing demand from the airfreight industry.
The challenge was to address the contamination and corrosion to aircraft parts in the cargo hold, through uncontrolled condensation caused by leakage of frozen products during air transportation.
The answer was to develop Cargo Absorbent. This new product has a barrier coated HDPE film base which prevents liquid penetrating through to the floor, and an absorbent top layer capable of absorbing up to 5 litres of liquid per square meter.
Cargo Absorbent is presented on rolls, so that large areas can be fully covered by cutting to length in situ.

Cargo Absorbent is also available perforated at 2.5 meters and is capable of absorbing 17.7 ml of liquid per square metre. The perforated version also has a barrier coated HDPE film base which prevents liquid penetrating through to the floor.
